Zacznijmy do tego, że Ewangelie nie mówią prawie wcale o Kościele – to słowo występuje tylko w Ewangelii wg Mateusza i tylko dwa razy. Natomiast wielokrotnie powtarza się w Ewangeliach słowo Królestwo Boże (Niebios) – około 100 razy. Czyli Królestwo Boże jest w centrum przesłania Ewangelii.
